We spent a day filled with learning and exploration in \u0160ibenik and on the island of Prvi\u0107.<\/p>\n

We visited the Faust Vran\u010di\u0107 Memorial Center and learned about the life and work of the great Croatian inventor, lexicographer, philosopher, and polyglot. On Prvi\u0107, we enjoyed peace, untouched nature, and the view of the endless blue. <\/p>\n

After exploring the island, we had lunch together, and then had time to walk and discover the beauties of \u0160ibenik. We visited the Cathedral of St. James, which is the most important architectural monument of the Renaissance in Croatia, built by Juraj Dalmatinac. We saw the theater, the city hall, the fortress of St. Nicholas, and four wells. Then we rested with coffee, spring sunshine, and conversation. A little tired, but happy, we returned to Split. <\/p>\n
