About the exam<\/h1>\n

The Centre for Croatian Studies Abroad (CEHAS) organises exams in Croatian language and Latin script proficiency. This exam is intended for individuals who need proof of language proficiency to obtain a residence permit, citizenship, or the recognition of foreign educational qualifications, employment, and similar purposes.<\/p>\n

Exams are conducted according to levels aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The exam is administered before a Commission and includes the following components:<\/p>\n

– Listening comprehension
– Reading comprehension
– Knowledge of Croatian grammatical structures
– Written communication
– Oral communication.<\/p>\n

Candidates must achieve a minimum of 60% of the total points to successfully pass all of the listed components.<\/p>\n

After successfully passing the exam, candidates will receive a certificate specifying the required purpose, issued no later than one week after the exam. Certificates can be collected in person or sent by mail.
IMPORTANT!<\/strong>
Candidates who fail to attend their scheduled exam can participate in the next available session. The number of attempts is unlimited. However, if a candidate fails the exam, they must reapply by submitting a new application and paying the full fee again. <\/p>\n

Candidates must submit the following documents:<\/p>\n
