The Republic of Croatia provides incentives to strengthen and foster connections with the Croatian diaspora, as well as develop encouraging measures for their return and immigration to Croatia. Scholarships for studying the Croatian language <\/strong>in the Republic of Croatia are one of the activities that are implemented by the Ministry of Demography and Immigration. <\/p>\n The scholarship program for studying the Croatian language in the Republic of Croatia aims to teach the Croatian language, familiarise participants with Croatian culture, preserve national identity, promote unity and cooperation, encourage the return of emigrated Croats and their descendants, and facilitate their successful integration into the social and economic life of the Republic of Croatia. <\/p>\n The following individuals are eligible to apply for the Public Call:<\/p>\n Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have completed at least secondary school, and have residence outside the Republic of Croatia or have been living in the Republic of Croatia for no more than three years as of the date of the publication of the Public Call.<\/p>\n Source: https:\/\/mdu.gov.hr\/<\/p>\n Scholarship recipients of the Ministry of Demography and Migration have been among the most numerous participants at CEHAS since its inception.
